Bula All, Eve you are right in saying that that book is special!!! I have not been married as long as you have but I did identify with it.... it was the first book that my husband bought me and we were just married for 3 years at the time and the funny thing is I've read it and reread it but the buyer of the gift still has yet to read it!!! LOL's but he did ask me to summerise it for him and since then we have been trying to work with our marriage using the five languages of love!!! I'm not saying that we've worked it out.... but that now we can sort of understand why we think differently!!! its a really good read!!!

Meanwhile read a book a while back .... Marley and Me ... forgot the author ...sori hopeless eh??? Anyways its a movie now and the actress is Jenifer Aniston and the actor the guy who acted with Jackie Chan in Shanghai Express... well the movie doesn't do the book justice!!!
Basically about a young aspiring couple both journalists from rivalry papers and then they were thinking about starting out a family .... well the lady likes to list things and make plans so kids were in her to do list... Problem was that she could even keep a plant alive so was reconsidering!!! so they thought about getting a puppy to start things out... so the book is about the puppy's life entwined with this young couple...
Its a heart warming story if you are pet owner you can really identify with it ... a friend had made fun of this book but it is a nice read and is full of emotions theres laughter, tears and even at some stages frustrations and anger!!!
Its a good PG book...

Hey its sooo nice to know there is a place to share info on books !!! I've read soo many good books dunno where to start!!!
Maybe should start from my most recent ..... Chronicles of Malus Darkblade ..... its a warhammer series. Have to recheck the authors though. If you liked the Lord of the Rings, and the elves in the story then you might like this. Though this story really isn't for the faint of heart!!! Its a bit more gruesome and not all PG it is more like M15 or R as there is alot of bloodshet, deciet, etc .... but the plot is good and there are two more books that follow it. I read it coz it was the only new book in the house ... brother brought it when he came for a visit. Will add others that I have read ...... laters

Add 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho to the list. Powerful messages that speak to all levels. Just finished 'Eleven Minutes' by the same Brazilian author. I must recommend, 'The Go-Giver' as well. Currently reading 'Three Cups of Tea'. I'm not a reader but as a family we have set ourselves a goal this year to read one book per month and a trip to either a coffee store or our favorite ma and pa bookstore for our monthly book review. My children and their mother are avid readers and I am joining in the ranks. The deep rooted conversations that we have on any subjects is truly rewarding and it is definitely a result of their 'bookworm-ness' as my 7 year old girl puts it.
I will write more at length with my review on the aforementioned books.
