Dictator Bainimarama's Forcible Attempt At Unifying Races In Fiji!

By Sai LealeaThe unilateral decision by the unelected and illegal regime to designate the name "Fijian" to refer to all Fiji citizens or nationals, instead of Fiji Islanders, will never be acceptable to Fijians or natives of Fiji. Since the 19th century, natives of Fiji have been referred to as Fijians and the whole world have also come to adopt it, though accepting confusion over ethnicity and nationality from time to time. Fijian Militarism and Strong State Ideology

by Sai LealeaAs the Bainimarama dictatorship in Fiji lurches towards seeking legitimacy in proposed elections in 2014, its policy in militarising large sections of indigenous Fijian society and public life appears widespread and intrusive. This has in turn skewed Fijians’ view of the State as repressive and complicit in destroying key institutional practices and regard for their place in their own home land. "Who Dares Win": A Call to Remove Dictatorship in Fiji

by Sai Lealea The flip side to the famous motto of the British Special Air Services (SAS) is that lack of courage never result in victory. Therein lie the glaring gap in what is required in Fiji to remove the Bainimarama dictatorship. Even worse, such a gap exists even within the current military, among those most able and with the opportunity, to effect such a noble enterprise on behalf of all Fijians who have suffered under the…See More

Fiji Politics Can Be Better

by Sai Lealea One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. (Plato) As the machinations of Australian politics during a leadership spill kept me glued to Aussie Sky News while intermittently taking a peek at the State of Origin match on Sky Sport, I can't help marvel at the possibilities that politics can offer when conducted in a professional manner among smart and…See More

Turning a Blind Eye - Fijians in the Bainimarama Cabinet

by Sai LealeaMany indigenous Fijians struggle to understand the motivations of fellow Fijians who have been propping up the Bainimarama dictatorship by serving in its cabinet. At best, they are regarded as being blind to the politics of it all, a contradiction both in term and practice, and only interested in salvaging the national interest. At worst, they are blatant opportunists who have no moral fibre in their being and care less for the…See More

It's All About Mandate

by Sai Lealea "A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is Tyranny!" - Thomas Jefferson. Since December 2006, the Bainimarama dictatorship has been methodical and brutal putting down opposition to its illegal rule. Citizens of Fiji have been well and truly made to fear the military regime. It is definitely not a Democratic government and with a tyrant at its helm, Fiji is indeed under Tyranny. Thomas Jefferson insists it should be the other way round…See More

Like how you have personalized your page with music, color, pics, videos, layout etc and this is my message when I say "one size does no fit all" as VB and his goons are doing by advocating a no race policy. Race is our identity, soul and authenticity.

Bula vinaka Sai Lealea,
I agree with the model use of Ratu Sukuna's 3 legged stool and also believe in the Silver lining like you. I am an entrepreneur who see innovation (human, social, moral, information and political capital) as a form of turning problems into opportunities in order to add value to money or financial capital.

The 3 legs of Ratu Sukuna's model, Na vanua (land and sea resources), na matanitu (access to markets), kei na noda Kalou lomani (moral and ethical level of understanding required for team building Leadership) are intertwined from the hearts and minds of our communities with its 'checks and balances" for accountability. Good governance with its legislation comes later at State level.

The whole system move as one. When one or two are out of alignment, it is the moral and human values or customer market will realign them.

What was missing in Ratu Sukuna's model was the strategic business plan in order to link, connect and account for the human values in human capital development -education, training and role modeling from the market which can be strategically measured.

This is why I keep saying that the illegal interim regime (IIR) cannot remove race and religion which are market differentiators to measure human values just like income status to measure poverty levels and today innovation and opportunities can be measured to gain benefits from the new information economy. But this requires a new way of thinking - win win relationship building that Voreqe Bainimarama (VB) and the Mara Ganilau dynasty (MGD) are just not capable. Their imposed style of leadership is contrary to Ratu Sukuna's recommended stye.

The new economic order driven by the ICT industry are made up of empowered customers, who in all our diversity, will not stand for "what I call the other side of human nature - human weakness, coveting thy neighbors wife". The IIR's philosophy, structure and processes are based on this culture. The IIR came to power "coveting" which will also be the cause of their downfall.

The people and ICT will see to it. The nucleus is already happening right here in Matavuvale and our networking is expanding globally. It is just a matter of time as the FTCM and President Tawawili of the Democratic Movement, US Branch are already on our mission.
Thanks for your support. Our core culture and values for good people is already taking form.
Much lolomas and many thanks for your valued input.
Mere Tuisalalo.

Bula Sai,
I am pleased to get to know you more and be a friend in this time of great need for our beloved Fiji. Fiji is going back to feudalism with all it problems from the 17th Century. Feudalism, led to the migration and the spread of freedom, constitutional democracy and capitalism in the United States and the rise of the Labour Party in UK. Together development, positively impacted Europe, Africa, Caribbean and the Pacific.

But history, of freedom, democracy and capitalism has NOT taught the Mara Ganilau Dynasty (MGD) a thing as they are too ignorant and greedy to learn, to study and to work for their "bread and butter" in order to understand that Fijian culture is collectivist in nature and NOT individualistic. The Indigenous Fijian people own their chiefs and NOT the other way round. This distinction is important.

In that lack of awareness, interpretation, understanding and acceptance, it appears that the MGD, for their status benefit only, want Fiji and our people, to go through the same bitter lessons again. The very high risks in unnecessary costs have been recorded by developed countries that we as a developing and modernizing county can learn from. We do not have to repeat the experience. We will NOT let them manipulate the system to their advantage. As Tawawili said "Enough is enough". I like how he put it.
Lolomas and God Bless to you and family.
Mere.
