Fijian communalects

In his foundational study of Fijian dialects, Geraghty (1983) classified the speech of numerous villages into several "communalects": groups of people that say they speak in the same manner. Here is a map showing the communalects of Viti Levu, distinguishing Eastern and Western Fijian.
