I Believe the Bible
I believe in the Holy Scriptures, the Bible, the eternal Word of God. I believe in its divine inspiration, its infallible authority, and its completeness in form and content.
Because I believe this, I treasure this Book, for therein is the written will of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. I will appeal to this ultimate Word from heaven as the conclusive guide for every issue of life, knowing that the Living God who has authored it supports its every word and subscribes its every promise. I reject all attempts of flesh or spirit to add to this written revelation, believing that herein is all I need to understand and to communicate the whole of God’s creative and redemptive purposes for man.
(Supporting texts: 1 Kin. 8:54-58; Pss. 19:7-11; 119:1-16, 89; Jer. 1:12; Matt. 24:35; Gal. 1:6-9; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; Rev. 22:18-19.)
With such a foundation as this I am undergirded with promise and established in wisdom for a life of fruitfulness and fulfillment.

Have You Heard of the Four Spiritual Laws?
Just as there are physical laws that govern the physical universe, so are there spiritual laws which govern your relationship with God.
Law One
GOD LOVES YOU, AND OFFERS A WONDERFUL PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.
God’s Love
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
God’s Plan
(Christ speaking) “I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly” (that it might be full and meaningful) (John 10:10).
Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life? Because…
Law Two
MAN IS SINFUL AND SEPARATED FROM GOD. THEREFORE, HE CANNOT KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD’S LOVE AND PLAN FOR HIS LIFE.
Man Is Sinful
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls sin.
Man Is Separated
“For the wages of sin is death” (spiritual separation from God) (Romans 6:23).
God is holy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two… man is continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through his own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion.
The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf.
Law Three
JESUS CHRIST IS GOD’S ONLY PROVISION FOR MAN’S SIN. THROUGH HIM YOU CAN KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD’S LOVE AND PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE.
He Died in Our Place
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
He Rose from the Dead
“Christ died for our sins… He was buried… He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures… He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred… ” (I Corinthians 15:3–6).
He Is the Only Way to God
“Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).
God has bridged the gulf which separates us from God by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
It is not enough just to know these three laws…
Law Four
WE MUST INDIVIDUALLY RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR AND LORD; THEN WE CAN KNOW AND EXPERIENCE GOD’S LOVE AND PLAN FOR OUR LIVES.
We Must Receive Christ
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12).
We Receive Christ through Faith
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that no of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9).
When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth (Read John 3:1–8).
We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation
(Christ is speaking) “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him” (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning from self to God (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us the kind of person He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
The following explains how you can receive Christ:
You Can Receive Christ Right Now By Faith Through Prayer (Prayer is talking with God)
God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:
“Dear God in heaven, I realize and admit that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me. I renounce Satan and all his works from my life. I confess Jesus now as my Lord and Saviour. Lord Jesus baptize me now with your Holy Spirit and fire. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.”
Does this prayer express the desire of your heart?
If it does, pray this prayer right now, and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

A Special Intercession For My Loved One’s Salvation
Heavenly Father, as a member of the New Covenant priesthood, I now come to You through Jesus Christ who is the High Priest of my confession.
I approach You not for myself but on behalf of _______________ my loved one whose mind has been blinded by the ruler of this age.
Holy Father, I come to You in _________________’s stead requesting that You grant mercy and favor to him/her. He/she is not innocent, but because of the efficacy of the Cross, I ask You to wash away his/her sins with the power of the precious blood of Christ.
Father, I realize he/she will need to come to You and request this same thing of his/her own volition, but I ask it in faith and believe there is a hedge of protection around him/her right now through the Blood. I acknowledge the merits of the Blood for my loved one, __________________.
As a New Covenant priest, I take his/her place before You, standing in the gap for ___________________. Furthermore, I ask that he/she will be delivered from the dominion of darkness and translated into the Kingdom of Your dear Son.
I’am reminded of Your promise to deliver the one for whom I intercede who is not innocent, and this one for whom I intercede shall be delivered through the cleanness of my hands. I beseech You on ________________’s behalf.
Jesus has made me both a king and priest. I lift up my loved one to You as a member of the royal priesthood. I take my stand against Satan as a king under the headship of the King of Kings.
Satan, before the face of God, I take my stand against you in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ and refuse to allow you, the enemy, to kill or destroy _________________. I declare, by faith, that you, the mind blinder are bound, and that your influence is broken in the life of ________________
I specifically bind the spirits of ________________________________ in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. No longer will my loved one, ______________, live under a fog of demonic influence, but his/her mind is free and clear, able to respond to the convicting power of the Holy Spirit.
I bind all spirits of _________________________ influencing my loved one. In the name of Jesus Christ you evil spirit of _________________________ must release ___________________ from your influence!
Just as Lazarus was raised from death to new life, I come to You on behalf of ________________________ and ask that You raise (him/her) from spiritual death to eternal life. I thank You, Father, that soon (he/she) will come forth into newness of life. (He/She) will come out of darkness and into light, out of sin and into righteousness, out of rebellion and into submission, out of hardness and into tenderness for the Son of God who loved (him/her) and gave Himself for (him/her).
I thank You, Lord Jesus, that the true light of Your love is now shining upon ______________________. I ask You to send forth laborers to lead (him/her) to salvation.
Father I put You in remembrance and plead my case, in Jesus’ name. You have promised, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.” My loved one, _____________________, therefore is saved by faith and I accept no other outcome.
IN THE HOLY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, MY LORD AND SAVIOR, I PRAY AND BELIEVE!
Amen.

PRAYER for WISDOM & REVELATION
Father, I’m praying these prayers for myself. Because they are Spirit-given prayers, this has to be Your will for me, just as it was Your will for the Church at Ephesus.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that I may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward me who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.
Which He worked in Christ, when He raised Jesus from the dead, and set Jesus and me at His own right hand in the heavenly places… For this reason I bow my knees unto the Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant me according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in my inner man;
That Christ may dwell in my heart by faith; that I, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saint’s what is the width, and length and depth and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fulness of God exceedingly abundantly above all that I could ever ask or think, according to the power that works in me,
To Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A friend
by D J Higgins
My friend, I stand in judgment now
And feel that you're to blame somehow
While on this earth I walked with you day by day
And never did you point the way
You knew the Lord in truth and glory
But never did you tell the story
My knowledge then was very dim
You could have led me safe to him
Though we lived together here on earth
You never told me of your second birth
And now I stand this day condemned
Because you failed to mention him
You taught me many things, that's true
I called you friend and trusted you
But now I learned, now it's too late
You could have kept me from this fate
We walked by day and talked by night
And yet you showed me not the light
You let me live, love and die
And all the while you knew I'd never live on high
Yes, I called you friend in life
And trusted you in joy and strife
Yet in coming to this end
I see you really weren't my friend
My friend if you die tonight, where would you go?
I have put together a prayer for you, which will help you start your new life as a Christian and your relationship with Jesus. If you pray this prayer genuinely from your heart, then you can be absolutely certain that when you die you are going to Heaven.
“Dear God in heaven, I realize and admit that I am a sinner. I repent of my sins and ask you to forgive me. I renounce Satan and all his works from my life. I confess Jesus now as my Lord and Saviour. Lord Jesus baptise me now with your Holy Spirit and fire. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.”

PRAYER for YOUR TITHE
Father, God, I thank You, for the Lordship and Deity of Jesus. He is Your Son and my Saviour, my healer, my provider. He is the Apostle of my faith, the High Priest of my confession, and it is in Him, Father, that I lift my tithes unto You.
Lord Jesus, take my tithe and worship the Father with it. And I declare that the devourer is rebuked and the windows of heaven are opened.
For I profess this day unto the Lord God, that I have come into the inheritance which the Lord swore to give me.
I am in the land, which You have provided for me in Jesus Christ. Jesus, as my Lord and High Priest, I bring this tithe seed of my income to You and worship the Lord, my God with it. I rejoice in all the good, which You have given to me and my household. I have harkened to the voice of the Lord, my God, and have done according to all that He has commanded me. Now looked down from Your holy habitation from heaven and bless me as You said in Your Word.
As You worship the Father with my giving, I set my heart in faith to receive the thirty, sixty, a hundred fold and a thousand times harvest, increase, return, yield and multiplication of this tithe seed. (Mark 4: 8, 20; Deut 1:11).
Father God, because of Christ alive in my life, I have power to bind Satan and to loose Your blessings (Matthew 16:19). Therefore, you foul spirits of poverty, lack, and debt, I bind you in the name of Jesus. You cannot work in my spirit, soul, mind, thoughts, will, intellect, emotions, my body, my marriage, my family, my business, my finances, or my social activities; for you foul spirits, you are bound in Jesus’ name.
Holy Spirit lift up a standard and flood against every demonic spirit that hinders, block, obstruct, spoil, withheld, kept, interfere or disrupt with every tithe seed harvest that I’ve sown thus far to this day, from coming to me in Jesus’ name. (Isaiah 59:19)
Prosperity, I loose you in the name of Jesus, to work in my spirit, my soul, mind, thoughts, will, intellect, emotions, my body, my marriage, my family, my business, my finances, and my social activities. Prosperity, you are loosed to good in all areas of my living.
Father God, You have blessed me with the blessings of the Lord. I am blessed when I go out and I am blessed when I come in.
I am blessed in the field and I am blessed in the store. Everything I put my hands to is blessed. Now, I don’t run after these blessings; these blessings are running after me and overtaking me (Deuteronomy 28:2), because You have made me the head and not the tail. I am born from above and not from beneath. My enemies come against me one way and flee in seven. Goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
(Genesis 22:14; Exodus 15:26; Deuteronomy 28:1-4; Psalms 23:6; Matthew 16:19; Mark 4:20; Titus 1:4; Hebrews 3:1).

The Works That I Do
Now it came to pass on a certain day, that Jesus went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, "Let us go over unto the other side of the lake." And they launched forth. But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, "Master, master, we perish." Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. And he said unto them, "Where is your faith?"
(Luke 8:22-25)
John Alexander Dowie was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and moved to Australia as a young man. In 1875, while Dowie was pastoring a Congregational church in Newton, Australia, a terrible plague swept through that part of the country. It was during this plague that Dowie first received light on divine healing and the authority that believers possess.
I read that Dowie once said, "I have crossed the ocean fourteen times by ship. During those fourteen crossings, many storms arose. But every time a storm came up, I always did like Jesus did: I rebuked that storm. And every single one ceased."
Dowie knew that Jesus had said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Dowie knew that he was linked up with God. You and I are linked up with God just as much as Dowie or anyone else ever was.
Confession: I believe on Jesus. The works that Jesus did on the earth, I can do. Jesus said I could, so I can.

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Eph. 6:10-11).
What would you think if you saw a traffic policeman in front of a car, trying to hold it back? You'd think, He can't do that. He's no match for that car!
Some people read Ephesians 6:10 and think that the Lord is telling them to be strong in themselves. And they're trying to be strong. They'll say, "Oh, pray for me that I'll hold out faithful to the end!" But God didn't say a word about our being strong in ourselves or in the power of our might.
That traffic policeman steps right out in front of those cars and holds up his hand, because he knows they're going to stop for him. He doesn't have to exert any strength himself; he's strong in the authority that's been given to him.
That is what the Lord is telling us. He's saying, "Be strong in the Lord. Be strong in the authority of His might." Just step out there in front of that oncoming devil. Hold up your hand in the Name of Jesus, and say, 'Thus far, and no further! Stop right now!'"
Confession: I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. I am invested with authority from the Lord Jesus Christ. When I hold up my hand in the Name of Jesus and say, "Thus far, and no further," the devil stops in his tracks!

Wisdom and Revelation
"Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers" (Eph.1:16).
Ephesians 1:17-23 and 3:14-21 are Spirit-given prayers which apply to the Church everywhere. The turning point in my life came when I prayed them a thousand times or more for myself.
I would kneel, open my Bible, and say, "Father, I'm praying these prayers for myself. Because they are Spirit-given prayers, this has to be Your will for me, just as it was Your will for the Church at Ephesus."
Then I would continue to pray by reading from these passages, except wherever Paul said, "you," I would substitute "me," as follows:
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of my understanding being enlightened; that may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.
After about six months, the first thing I was praying about started to happen. The revelation of God's Word began to come to me!
Confession: (Pray the prayer in Ephesians, chapter 1 for yourself.)

We Have a Better Covenant
...he [Jesus] is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
(Heb. 8:6)
Under the Old Covenant, the Israelites were servants of God; they weren't sons of God, as we are today. The Bible says concerning us, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God..." (1 John 3:2).
Since God made provision under the Old Covenant for His servants to be healed and well, He has surely made provision for us as His sons.
Under the Old Covenant, God said, "...I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill" (Ex. 23:25-26). He made provision for their healing, saying, "...I am the Lord that healeth thee" (Ex. 15:26).
God made provision under the Old Covenant whereby Israel could live out their full length of time down here on earth without sickness and disease. Now since He made that provision under the Old Covenant, and since we have a better covenant established on better promises, I wonder if our covenant includes health and healing (Heb. 8:6)?
The better covenant includes all that the Old Covenant had and more, or it's not better.
Know this Bible fact: God has dealt with sickness and disease under the Old Covenant as well as under the New Covenant.
Isaiah 53:4 and 5, Matthew 8:17, and First Peter 2:24 deal with the disease and sickness problem that faces the Church and the world today. And within those scriptures is God's cure. According to First Peter 2:24, by His stripes, we were healed.
Confession
I am a child of God, a son of God. Since God provided health and healing for His servants under the Old Covenant, He has surely provided health and healing for us - His sons - today!

A Psalm
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs" (Col. 3:16).
Here is the psalm the Holy Spirit gave me on the subject of words:
Words seem so insignificant and small,
That men oft times take no note of them at all.
But words spoken in faith, create realities,
So rise up and speak, like the Creator of the universe,
Who, in faith, said, "LET THERE BE" and THERE WAS.
Words, you speak them all the time,
Filled with negativism and defeat,
Those words create defeat, and make you,
Unsuccessful, unhealthy, and unwise.
But Words given by God, inspired by His Spirit,
Called by men, the Holy Writ,
These words heard with the ear of faith,
And spoken out of a heart filled with faith,
Will create in your life, and your family's too,
Success and victory; health and healing;
Circumstances and darkness and troubles too,
Will run away from you.
Filled with His Word, inspired by His Spirit,
Make your tongue do its duty.
See to it that you speak only truth,
His Word is truth.
Speak words of faith and love; words that are true,
And no longer will spiritual realities unto you,
Seem unreal and far away.
But all of the blessings of life;
Spiritual, material, physical, and financial too,
Will come to make their abode with you.

You Are God's Garden
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
(1 Cor. 3:9)
When Paul wrote to the Church at Corinth, he said, "...ye are God's husbandry..." Now that's a little bit blind to us today, but another translation says, "Ye are God's garden." You are God's garden.
Picture in your mind a garden. Have you ever seen anyone plant a garden one day and the next day go out and reap something from it? No, of course not.
In First Corinthians 3:6, Paul said, "I have planted [talking about the seed of the Gospel], Apollos watered; but God gave the increase." Well, what did he plant? What was his seed? The Word of God was his seed.
Paul planted the seed of the Word into people's hearts. Then Apollos came along preaching to them and watered the Word that had already been preached to them, or planted, by Paul. And God gave the increase, or caused the seed to bear fruit.
Psalm 107:20 says, "He sent his word, and healed them..." How do you plant the Word in your heart? When you receive the Word—when you accept and confess it—it gets into your spirit, into your heart.
Confession
It is God's will that I be well. God wants me well. He doesn't want me sick. I let that truth be planted into my heart, and I water it so that it will yield an increase of healing in my life.
