Jane, how about the oil from the bacon, does that get drained while in the oven into a tray I can imagine the amount of oil from the bacon. Love the dish & would like to dry! curious!!

Sure,you feel free to drain them but we all have diffrent taste and prefrence and i like to use them over my potatoes or rice.Huh... theres not much oil either but, do what you like and its nice for those of you who dees not agree with much oil,is not in the wrapped salmon.So i wish you goodluck if you care to try it out,vinaka.
