Gospel means GOOD NEWS. Have you ever wondered about the Gospel of Christ. What actually was the main good news of the Gospel.
Putting the radio on or TV on a Sunday and you will likely come to normally hear the pastor saying,"Turn to Jesus, give Him your life and He will give you a new heart and He will cleanse you life, believe in Him,accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, let Him into your heart"....and so on.
They are preaching about Jesus.
Everywhere you will go it will be the same gospel blaring out even around every street corners! The air will be filled with the Gospel.
BUT is that the Gospel of Christ? Sadly it is not the Gospel that Christ wants us to teach!Going places teaching about Jesus and telling the unconverted to believe in Him is not the Gospel of Christ! That is part of the Gospel but it is not the core of Christ's Gospel. My friends that is the very reason Christ have never returned!Because the true Gospel have never reached the whole world! Strong words but bear with me.
Of course Jesus was with God in the beginning. He came in the flesh and became the Son of God and our Savior and believe me not many realizes that He was also a messenger. He brought a message from God to mankind. His life is not the Gospel!
Jesus warned in Mathew chapter 24 that there will be a lot of false teachers or false prophet in the later days.Jesus actually called them DECEIVERS. Of course they teach about Jesus but they doesn't realize that they are deceived! Or else they would not have been doing so.They are saying Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ but in actual fact they stopped short of proclaiming what Jesus Himself proclaimed!
So, if Jesus’s message wasn’t just about Himself, then what is the true Gospel?
Satan doesn't want you to know that the true gospel that Jesus brought with Him from Heaven gives the solution to our world’s sufferings, frustrations and indescribable evils. It goes so far beyond proclaiming that Jesus was real. But men rejected that Gospel and crucified Jesus for preaching it! Billions today believe on Christ,I mean the whole world have heard about Christ, but do not believe His gospel, because most have never heard it! They have heard of Christ and what He did. But no one has relayed His actual message. And that true Gospel is the solution to your problems, national problems and world problems! It explains how to receive happiness, abundance, fulfillment and eternal life! Yet the vast majority of Christians have never heard the TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST!
Paul in a letter to the Galatians was disturbed that there were already false teachers proclaiming a different gospel than what Jesus really taught. They actually created a new church denomination.See it in Galatians 1:6-9. It is just about 20 years from Jesus's resurrection. The seriousness of the matter sees Paul pronouncing a curse on whoever teaches another Gospel be they human or an angel.
Jesus was killed for proclaiming that message or the Gospel,His apostles were martyred and later on the faithful remnant were also killed because of this Gospel. So by the end of the first century AD, Christ's true Gospel was suppressed and was replaced with counterfeit Gospel which have been around the whole world for centuries now. It is now the gospel ABOUT Christ. But the real Gospel OF Christ have yet to reach the whole world. If you study history you will probably have noted that the institution that actually killed the remnant of the early true church was the very one which championed a new gospel.
What Gospel did Jesus preached? Mark 1:14-15, "Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom OF GOD is at hand: repent ye, and believe the GOSPEL."
JESUS SAID IF YOU WANT TO BE ACCOUNTED WORTHY OR SAVED then we have to believe HIS GOSPEL and not the gospel of man.Mark 16:15-16 says, "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
The message God sent by Jesus Christ was the gospel of the Kingdom of God. Jesus was sent to announce that message. He did not force men to accept it, believe it, or act upon it. He never pleaded with a single person to become converted. He proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom of God, and then left it to God the Father to call, through that announcement and His Spirit, those whom He would select (John 6:44). Christ did not come at that time to convert the world! He did not launch a soul saving crusade. He came to announce the Gospel, the good news,of the coming Kingdom of God!
The gospel of Jesus Christ is not that familiar Gospel about the life and times of Christ. It is Christ’s Gospel, the Gospel He preached. Scripture calls it not the Gospel about God, but the Gospel of God.
Look who Jesus said told Him what to say? John 12:49-50. "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, He gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."
The Father sent Jesus bearing a special message, the good news of the Kingdom of God. Jesus is God’s Spokesman, the Word that was made flesh and lived, and taught, on this Earth!

Eddie me vakavinavinakataki duadua ga na Kalou.

There are a lot of crusades going on but Jesus every time He healed somebody, told them to keep it a secret. It is interesting to see how churches nowadays are going for the numbers but Jesus hides a lot during His days here.

Have a look at the following:

"Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. "
Matt 13:13-15.

Why would Jesus try to keep His identity secret?
Why did Jesus speak in parables if no one could understand them?

Mark 1:34(also 3:11-12)

Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.

Matthew 16(also Mark 8:29-30( Luke19-21)

Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.

Mark 1:40-44(, Luke 5:12-15)

A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean."

Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.

Jesus sent him away at once with a strong warning: "See that you don't tell this to anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them."Mark 4:10-12(also Mt 13:10-15, Lk 8:10)

When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. He told them, "The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that,

"'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'"Matthew 28:19-20

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Surely people have no idea what is the truth. As the religious leaders in the time of Jesus went against Him surely now people are going against His Gospel.

Listen again to Benny Hinn:
Quote""""""When you say I am saved, what are you saying? You are saying, I am a Christian. What does that word mean? It means, I'm anointed. You know what the word anointed means? It means Christ. When you say I'm a Christian, you are saying I am Mashiyach in Hebrew, I am a little messiah walking on earth, in other words. That's a shocking revelation! We are not, we are not, having, we don't have apart of Him running around in our stomach feeling goose bumps. His spirit and our spirit-man are one, united. There is no separation, it's impossible. The new creation is created after God in righteousness and true holiness. The new man is after God, like God, Godlike, complete in Christ Jesus, the new creation is just like God May I say it like this, you are a little god on earth running around."""""""unquote

This teaching is standard New Age, Freemason, and Rosicrucian! All these false occult groups teach that each man has a "little god" within! This specific Charismatic Word of Faith movement has just now been identified as New Age! Truly, all false groups are coming together at this point in world history; the only difference here is that the Hagin/Copeland/Hinn movement is teaching standard occult doctrine under the guise of being Christian. Did you know this is the true definition of "Antichrist"? Listen:
"... as you have heard that the antichrist [he who will oppose Christ in the guise of Christ] is coming ..." [1 John 2:18a; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary]

The Sabbath and other questions!

  1. If every man from Adam to Moses kept the Sabbath, why is the Hebrew word for the weekly Sabbath found in the Ten Commandments, never found in the book of Genesis? Why is no one before Moses ever being told to keep the Sabbath? Why are there no examples of anyone keeping the Sabbath?
  2. Why were the Patriarchs never instructed about the Sabbath, but were instructed regarding: offerings: Gen 4:3-4, Altars Gen 8:20, Priests: Gen 14:18, Tithes: Gen 14:20, Circumcision: Gen 17:10, Marriage: Gen 2:24 & Gen 34:9. Why would God leave out the "all important" Sabbath command?
  3. If the fact that God wrote the 10 commandments on stone proves they are forever, then whatever happened to the two stone tablets that God gave Adam at the beginning of time? Why is Moses the first one to see a stone tablet written by the finger of God?
  4. Why is the weekly Sabbath commandment never quoted in the New Testament?
  5. Why is the Sabbath the only one of the Ten Commandments that are said to be "throughout your generations", the usual phrase that indicates it was a temporary ceremonial law only for the Jews?
  6. Why is there no example of exclusively Christians coming together on the Sabbath day as a church or prayer meeting after the resurrection of Christ?
  7. Why is there no command in the New Testament for Christians to keep the Sabbath holy?
  8. While Paul taught in the synagogues up to 84 times, why does the Bible never say he kept the Sabbath?
  9. If Paul's action of preaching to non-believers 84 times in the book of Acts on the Sabbath make him a Sabbath keeper, is a Seventh-day Adventist pastor a Sunday keeper if we invite him for 84 Sundays in a row to teach us about God's word?
  10. How could Adam, Noah and Abraham keep the Sabbath, when Deuteronomy 5:2-4 says that the 10 commandment covenant (see was "not made with any of the fathers of Israel who lived before Moses."
  11. If we must follow the example of Jesus in all things like keeping the Sabbath, then why do Sabbatarians not follow the example of Jesus in circumcision, animal sacrifices and keeping Passover?
  12. If the Sabbath was for Gentiles and Adam, Noah and Abraham, then why is the Sabbath a sign to remind their exodus from Egypt? Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:13-18. Were either Abraham or Seventh-day Adventists ever slaves in Egypt?
  13. If the Sabbath law is still in force, then why do they not stone their own members when they break the Sabbath as the law said?

What is the House of Yahweh?

The House of Yahweh (HOY), headquartered on a compound in Eula, Texas, is a cult founded in 1980. In some ways, the movement resembles the Worldwide Church of God (WCG), from which it split. Its main focus is on Old Testament law-keeping as a means of justification. The group’s emphasis on rule-keeping and apocalyptic destruction resembles Jehovah’s Witness’ doctrine. Their belief in polygamy and the superiority of House of Yahweh elders also suggests Mormon influence.

In 1974, J. G. Hawkins, who later changed his name to the Jewish-sounding Yaaqob, visited Israel and claimed he had found “proof” that Yahweh was God’s only recognized name. His younger brother Bill legally changed his name to Yisrayl and began the House of Yahweh in his home. The brothers claimed that they were the two witnesses prophesied in Revelation 11 to prepare the world for the second coming of Christ, whom they call Yahshua. According to Revelation 11:3–6, the two witnesses “will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth. . . . If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. . . . They have power to shut up the heavens so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.” Neither brother has ever produced any miracles, and the 1,260 days has long passed. So has Yaaqob. The elder Hawkins brother died in 1991. That, however, has not deterred Yisrayl or the House of Yahweh.

Yisrayl Hawkins believes himself to be an end-time prophet sent to deliver the world from the coming destruction. Only those who are part of his sect will survive. All Christian churches are heretical and of Satan. He focuses on apocalyptic prophecies and interprets them as he sees fit. The group is cult-like in its strict authoritarianism, insisting that rebellion against House of Yahweh leaders is rebellion against Yahweh Himself. They teach that salvation can be obtained by strict adherence to the Torah, obeying all of “Yahweh’s 613 laws,” and keeping the Jewish feasts and festivals. They keep the Saturday Sabbath and label all traditional Christian holidays such as Christmas and Easter “pagan.”

The House of Yahweh is not a Christian group. Some of the critical issues which separate the House of Yahweh from true Christianity are as follows:

1. The Nature of God. They call the Creator “Yahweh” and believe all other names by which He is commonly known (God, Elohim, Lord) are actually names of idols or pagan gods mistakenly applied to Yahweh. They deny God’s triune nature and insist that Yahweh had a wife, Lucifer, who rebelled against Him and became Satan.

In truth, the ancient manuscripts from which all sound translations are derived use numerous Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek words to identify God. He Himself gives many of those names such as El-Shaddai (Exodus 6:3), I AM (Exodus 3:14), and Elohim (Ezekiel 34:31). In Psalm 91:1–2, the psalmist uses five different names for the Lord. Moses called Him “the God of gods and the Lord of lords” (Deuteronomy 10:17).

2. Jesus. The House of Yahweh teaches that Jesus (Yahshua Messiah) is not God nor was He pre-incarnate with God before He came to earth. This teaching is in direct conflict with John 1:1 and Philippians 2:6–7. Jesus Himself said, “Before Abraham was, I am!” (John 5:58). He also stated that anyone who had seen Him had seen the Father (John 14:9) because “I and the Father are one” (John 10:30). First John 2:22–23 says, “Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.” If this single doctrine was the only way in which the House of Yahweh differed from Christianity, it would be enough to classify it as a false religion.

2. The Bible. The House of Yahweh has produced its own Bible translation, The Book of Yahweh: The Newly Restored Original Bible, which they claim to be the only accurate translation. They state that all other translations have been corrupted by pagans and idol worshipers. However, Yisrayl Hawkins is neither a Hebrew scholar nor a professional translator and has twisted his book to fit his agenda, removing words or adding them as desired.

3. False Prophecies. Yisrayl Hawkins has made numerous “prophecies” projecting the end of the world. Those dates come and go with no fulfillment of his words. He predicted that the Israeli Peace Accord signed on October 13, 1993, began a seven-year tribulation period (Matthew 24:21) that would end on October 14, 2000, with the return of Christ. His most recent failed prediction was that a nuclear war would begin on Thursday, June 12, 2008.

God has harsh words for those who falsely prophesy in His name. Deuteronomy 18:20 says, “But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.” Jeremiah 29:8–9 says, “‘Do not let the prophets . . . deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them,’ declares the LORD.” In Ezekiel 33:33, the Lord says, “When all this comes true—and it surely will—then they will know that a prophet has been among them.” The reverse is also true. When a so-called prophecy does not come true, the “prophet” who spoke it is not of God.

4. Salvation. The Bible presents salvation as the forgiveness of sin and conciliation with God (Romans 5:1). The goal of the House of Yahweh is peace on earth and the appeasement of Yahweh by strict adherence to the Mosaic Law. It is very clearly a works-based theology.

Yisrayl Hawkins has been under investigation for sexual misconduct, suspected polygamy, and child-labor infractions. According to his former wife, Kay, Hawkins began to preach polygamy after he was caught in an affair with a church secretary. In 2008, according to an ABC News article, “The 73-year-old founder and pastor of the House of Yahweh, was charged by the Callahan County district attorney with having multiple wives . . . charges of sexually abusing a teenager, bigamy and welfare fraud. Questions have also been raised about at least two deaths within the sect.” Authorities suggest that this sect closely resembles the Branch Davidians.

Galatians 5:4 says, “You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.” Scripture is clear that nothing we can do will justify us before God. Salvation is a gift of God bought for us by the blood of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9). We find peace with God by repenting of our own attempts to justify ourselves and accepting God’s gift by faith (John 3:15–18). The House of Yahweh has failed to heed Scripture. “No one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law” (Romans 3:20). Acceptance of that truth alone would dismantle the House of Yahweh.

Beliefs taught by the surviving House of Yahweh:

Some of their beliefs are:

  • Satan      is a female who is the former wife of Yahweh. She rebelled and was      expelled from Heaven. She has indirectly controlled of all of the world's      governments and religions by appointing all political and religious      leaders.
  • The      terms "God" and "Lord" actually refer to the minority      of disobedient angels who were expelled from Heaven with Satan.
  • Catholicism      and Protestantism are evil faith groups, symbolized by the two horns of      the beast mentioned in Revelation 13:11.
  • The      2012-JUL issue of their magazine, The Prophetic Word (PW)      stated that:

"Sorceries and witchcraft are practiced mostly by Catholics and Christians, but it’s even more widespread than that. All religions today, except The House of Yahweh located in Abilene, Texas, are involved in sorceries and witchcraft in many ways." 1

  • Yahshua      Messiah (Jesus Christ) and Yahweh (God) are two separate beings. The      Trinity does not exist. 2
  • Yahshua      Messiah did not exist from the creation of the world; he was conceived      late in the 1st century BCE, and did not exist before that      time.
  • Yisrayl      Hawkins and his late brother Jacob are the two witnesses mentioned in      Revelation 11:3.
  • Holding      religious services on Sunday and observing the traditional Christian      holidays harms believers. They are given the "mark of the Beast"      as mentioned in Revelation 13:15-18 and other verses in that biblical      book.

Beliefs by outside observers about the House of Yahweh:

There have been a series of largely unconfirmed allegations about:

  • Extreme      psychological control over the membership of the Abilene group. Members      are told what to wear, what to read, and what to listen to or watch.
  • A      collection of weapons by the leaders.
  • An      article in the Abilene Reporter-News stated that:

"Four men tied to the militant, anti-government Posse Comitatus of Wisconsin are elders or guards in the House of Yahweh." 3

The latter are a anti-government, anti-semitic, racist group of survivalists.

  • Polygyny      exists within the group. This is the most common form of polygamy      involving the marriage of one man with more than one woman.
  • Members      of the House of Yahweh believe that their group will play      a major role in the War of Armageddon at the time of      the end of      the world as we know it.
  • Miryam      Martin, a member of the House of Yahweh who left in the      year 2000 said:

"It's definitely a cult that follows mind-control techniques. So many people's lives have been destroyed by what's been going on over there." 4

  • Some      ex-members claim that leader Yisrayl Hawkins has at least two dozen wives.      This is denied by existing members. However, state records show that he      did father two babies during 2007 to women aged 19 and 22. 4

1998 & 1999: Prophecies of the House of Yahweh:

The group places major emphasis on an end-of-the-world scenario which they once believed would start on 1998-OCT. That didn't happen.

Subsequently, they issued a second prophecy, published in 1999-SEP. It was linked to the 7 year Middle East peace plan which was signed on 1993-SEP-13. They expected that when "the seven year peace plan...starts again in the fall of 2000," the world will experience "the worst time of trouble ever." According to Isaiah 24, God will make the earth a wasteland and will scatter its inhabitants. The land will be utterly emptied and plundered. They predicted that by mid-2001, 80% of the world's population would have been killed as a result of nuclear war. No rain will fall for 1,260 days! This is exactly 42 months according to ancient Hebrew calculations and about about three and a half years according to our the Gregorian calendar. This interval is mentioned in the Books of Daniel and Revelation as either 1,260 days or "time, and times, and half a time." Fortunately, this end of the worldprophecy failed as well.

What is a Real Christian?

A Christian is someone who follows the teaching of Christianity, a monotheistic, Trinitarian religion which was founded by Jesus of Nazareth 2000 years ago in Israel. Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies of the coming Messiah, performed many miracles, and claimed to be divine. After Jesus' death, resurrection, and ascension, his followers continued the teaching ministry begun by him.

Basically, to be a Christian means to acknowledge who Jesus is, receive the atoning sacrifice, to repent of sin, and to try and live according to what the New Testament teaches.

The term Christian comes from the Greek cristianon (Christianon) and is found in Acts 11:26;26:28 and 1 Pet. 4:16. Cristianon is derived from the Greek cristos which means "Christ" or "anointed one"--the equivalent of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ "Messiah."

• Acts 11:26, "and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came about that for an entire year they met with the church, and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch."

• Acts 26:28, "And Agrippa replied to Paul, “In a short time you will persuade me to become a Christian.”

• 1 Pet. 4:16, "but if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not feel ashamed, but in that name let him glorify God."

Within the correct teaching of Christianity is the doctrine of the substitutionary atonement of Christ. Though there are different theories regarding the atonement, the following verses make it clear that Christ took the place of our punishment due to our sins against God, became sin on our behalf, and bore our sins in his body on the cross.

• Isaiah 53:4-5, "Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him and by His scourging we are healed."

• 2 Cor. 5:21, "He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him."

• 1 Pet. 2:24, "and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed."

Not all who claim to be Christian are Christian
Undoubtedly, Jesus was a tremendous figure of ancient times, and his deep spiritual teachings found in the New Testament draw millions; but, just because someone says he or she is a Christian, does not mean he is.

Within Christianity are basic, essential doctrines as defined by the Old and New Testaments. The Bible teaches monotheism (Exodus 20:3; Isaiah 43:10; 44:6, 8); that God is a Trinity(Matt. 3:16-17; 2 Cor. 13:14; Jude 20-21); that Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14; 20:28;Col. 2:9; Titus 2:13; Heb. 1:8); that Jesus rose from the dead physically (1 Cor. 15:14; 17); and that salvation is by grace alone through faith (Eph. 2:8-9; Gal. 5:4; Rom. 3:20). However, there are those who claim to be Christian yet deny one or more of the essentials of the Christian faith. Such is the case with Mormonism that denies both monotheism and salvation by grace alone. Jehovah's Witnesses deny Jesus' physical resurrection and salvation by grace alone. Roman Catholicism denies salvation by grace alone and adds works of penance, indulgences, and sacraments. Oneness Pentecostal denies the Trinity. There are other such groups, but this article is not intended to cover them all.

Christian Statistics
Statistically speaking, Christianity (in the broad sense of the word) is the largest religion in the world with about 2 billion adherents. Catholicism is the largest group of those who claim to be Christian with Protestants the next largest after that. Unfortunately, there are more than 30,000 Christian denominations. If a group holds to the basics of the Christian faith but deviates in non-essentials such as which day to worship on, to baptize by immersion or sprinkling, etc., it is still Christian. It is the difference in the non-essentials that has lead to so many denominations; but, denial of an essential means the group is not Christian at its core even if it claims to be Christian.

Where do you stand concerning the essential doctrines of Christianity?

Tell us of the core beliefs of your group or church.

Are you BORN AGAIN or not?

Do you acknowledge the finished work of the Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary?

Failure to address this questions leads one to belief that you're a false Christian and promoting a false gospel in here.

It doesn't matter how much you scream that you're Christian make you a Christian.

Please answer the questions directed to you.

You'll continue to miss it thinking there's a true gospel. Here it is:

Eddie there's no other true gospel except Jesus Christ Himself. He is the message and the messenger.

Agreeing with the "born again" doctrine doesn't cut it. You have to actually do it to get in.

Christianity hasn't lost anything, only those claiming that are lost themselves.

Eddie your church is NOT the "remnant church" or the true church either. That's another false doctrine promoted by false Christians.

What are the core beliefs of Christianity?

The term Christianity seems to imply a religious system in the same way that Islam and Buddhism are religious systems. Within religious systems are core beliefs, along with codes, rules, and standards that must be mastered in order to achieve a desired end.

Christianity does not fit that definition and therefore the term can be slightly misleading. Jesus did not come into the world to start another religion. There were already plenty of religions (see Acts 17:22–23), including Judaism, which had begun as a relationship with Almighty God (Leviticus 20:12) but had deteriorated into another religious system on par with idol worship (Matthew 15:8). Jesus came to bear witness to the truth (John 18:37), to seek and to save the lost—those separated from God by their sin (Luke 19:10)—and to “give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:32). With that said, those who follow Christ do share some core beliefs.

Biblically speaking, Christians are those who are forgiven of their sins and who have entered a personal relationship with Almighty God through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10). In order to become a Christian, a person must fully accept as part of his or her own personal worldview the following core beliefs:

• Jesus is the Son of God and is equal with God (John 1:1, 49; Luke 22:70; Mark 3:11; Philippians 2:5–11)

• Jesus was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:26–35)

• Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life (Hebrews 4:15; John 8:29)

• Jesus was crucified to pay the penalty for our sins (Matthew 26:28; 1 Corinthians 15:2–4)

• Jesus rose from the dead (Luke 24:46; Mark 16:6)

We are saved by the grace of God; that is, we cannot add to or take away from Christ’s finished work on the cross as full payment for our sin (Ephesians 2:8–9)

It could be argued that belief in the inerrancy of God’s Word is also a core belief of Christianity because, if the Bible’s veracity is suspect, then all we know about God is in doubt. Saving faith is inextricably linked to the Word of God: “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ” (Romans 10:17).

But the mental acceptance of the above points of doctrine is only the framework around which salvation occurs. Faith is more than intellectual assent, and mentally agreeing with the core beliefs of Christianity does not equal entrance into God’s kingdom. Even Satan and the demons know certain things about God (James 2:19). We can mentally agree with facts without making those facts the centerpiece of our lives.

Can a person be saved without holding to the core beliefs of Christianity? No. But along with accepting as true those core beliefs must be a spiritual transformation. Jesus said that in order to inherit eternal life one must be “born again” (John 3:3). To be born again is a work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of a repentant sinner. Just as a mother in labor does all the work in bringing forth a new life, so the Holy Spirit does the work in transforming a sinner into a new creature (2 Corinthians 5:17). This process begins when God draws a heart through conviction of sin and hope of forgiveness (John 6:44). When we surrender to God and repent of our sin (Acts 2:38), God applies the blood of His own Son to our account and cancels the debt we owe Him (Colossians 2:14). By this act of transference, God pronounces us “not guilty”; that is, He justifies us (Romans 4:5). Salvation is a divine exchange: Jesus becomes our sin so that we can become His perfection (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is the gospel at the very core of Christianity.

Mathew 6:33

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”.

Now, what is the kingdom of God? Let the bible interpret for itself. Here, the apostle Paul tells us;

Romans 14:17

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

When you keep your eyes fixed on Jesus and pursue the kingdom of God, which is Jesus righteousness, Jesus peace and Jesus joy, God’s Word promises that “all these things” will be added to you. “These things” refer to what you will eat, drink and wear. Jesus tells us that you do not have to be consumed by these concerns. If your Father feeds even the birds of the air, even though they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, how much more will He take care of you, who are much more value to Him than the birds! (Mathew 6:25-32).

Beloved, just keep your eyes on Jesus and His finished work on the cross. Not only will He add the things that you need in this life to you, He will also cause you to become safe for success.

Now turn with me to the Book of Jeremiah to see what the Lord says about having riches, wisdom and might.

Jeremiah 9:23-24

Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgement, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

So, let us be a people who will not depend on our own wisdom, might and riches (own merit) but rather, let our boasting (dependence) be in understanding and knowing Jesus. Know that He executes justice against all injustices. Know that He Himself is righteousness and He clothes us with His robes of righteousness.

The more you focus on beholding Jesus in all His loveliness and the less you struggle to earn things by your own merits, the more you become safe for greater success in your life.

God bless.

Hahah...what are you trying to do Joe. Telling bedtime stories? Look at the example above!Sa via yalowai tale?

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26
This is before sin entered.

Below is for those who overcome sin.
King James Bible
"But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."1 Corinthian 2:9.

Paul knew why we are created but not Matt Slick!

"For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?
7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and DIDST SET HIM OVER THE WORKS OF THY HANDS:
8 Thou hast PUT ALL THINGS in subjection under his feet. For in that HE PUT ALL IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIM,HE LEFT NOTHING THAT IS NOT PUT UNDER HIM. But now we see NOT YET ALL THINGS PUT UNDER HIM." Hebrew 2:5-8.

But for sinners Joe see below.
"For the wages of sin is DEATH.." Romans 6:23.
