Sotia Central is from Fiji Times, Matavuvale is with Viti Times (Kailaa!)

The similarities are..both websites were created as a means to
socialize, reconnect and engage in meaningful discussions with
one another. The similarities end there. Sotia Central is now
closed indefinitely.

Here on Matavuvale, we the moderators, strive our utmost to maintain
integrity, respectability and dignity to reflect its image of a family-oriented
net working site. Our goal is to offer members a pleasant and family-like
atmosphere where serious and not so serious topics are debated, jokes shared,
friendships initiated and long lost relatives reconnected.

It's because of this standard that we stringently maintain, that MTVVL has grown
rapidly and its popularity has continued to show strength. We thank you members
for your loyal support.

We Pacific Islanders are known for our strong and fiesty roles in a debate. More so
when the topic of discussion is dear to us. Emotions run high, panelists become
personal and at times resort to profanity. Again, we ask members to keep these
comments clean and professional, no hitting below the belt. A member who conducts
himself/herself in a manner inconsistent with the image we portray MTVVL will surely
be looked at unkindly and, if the situation warrants, will be deleted from this site.

We hope Sotia Central will be up and running again in due course. Meanwhile we welcome
SC members to MTVVL.

On behalf of my niece 'Oni (Tinai Hannah) and the rest of the Administration Team, thank
you members for your loyal support and invaluable contributions.
