Are Easter Symbols and Traditions paganistic in tis origin?

What are some of the origin of Easter traditions such as easter eggs, easter bunnies and the likes?

Is it cultish/demon worship as some have us to believe?

Or is it just harmless fun that people are trying to rob us from?

Share some thoughts please and lets take the mystery out of it.

Amstrong's long list of false prophecies keeps on piling up. He's not a prophet but he's your prophet. You're trying so hard to explain why they didn't come to pass but to no avail.

Quote"""75) Communism in Russia will last in Russia until Christ comes back - Repeatedly written and preached by HWA through 1950s, 60s, 70s and early 80s. Instead, Communism collapsed in Russia in 1991.
76) HWA, 1956 PT: "Who will bury who?" Predicts that communism in Russia will outlive the United States. It didn't. It collapsed in 1991."""unquote

Joe it is more than just the above because during and after World War II, the renowned educator and televangelist Herbert W. Armstrong dogmatically proclaimed a warning that Communist philosophy would be the devil’s tool to take from America the greatest national and economic blessing ever conferred on any people. Specifically, he predicted that Marxist thinking would sap America’s strength, pervert its morals, sabotage its education system, wreck its social structure, destroy its spiritual life, weaken its economic power, and demoralize its armed forces.

Communist Party USA National Committee chairman declared last week that while American Communists long for a third party, for the foreseeable future they remain committed to working with the Democratic Party, which he explains is the “most realistic electoral vehicle” for accomplishing their political agenda. The DEMOCRATIC PARTY OF AMERICA IS JUST A VEHICLE FOR THE COMMUNISTS IN AMERICA TO FURTHER THEIR AGENDA? Sadly it is true. Study how the party came into being and you will be bewildered by how deep the forces of darkness runs in the American political arena.

Obama once said to a group of Argentine student that capitalism and communism are just ideologies of which there are no difference. Just choose which one works!

“From the time he was 9 years old, he was influenced by Frank Marshall Davis, who was a Communist,” former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani said in an interview with the New York Post (Feb. 21, 2015). The man famed for his role in rebuilding New York after the 9/11 attacks and one-time Republican presidential candidate then elaborated on how Stanley Dunham, the president’s grandfather, introduced the young Barack Obama to the now-famous Communist activist back in 1970.

Later in the interview, Giuliani highlighted how President Obama had also been influenced by the teachings of socialist community organizer Saul Alinsky and Black Liberation Theology preacher Jeremiah Wright. “He doesn’t talk about America the way John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan did, about America’s greatness and exceptionalism,” Giuliani continued. “He was educated by people who were critics of the U.S.”
President Obama’s own bestselling 1995 autobiography Dreams From My Father shows that he was profoundly influenced by Frank Marshall Davis, and by many others who were at least sympathetic to Marxist ideology. Barack Obama’s ideological roots are far more radical than the general public has been led to believe. We must consider the facts of his ideological roots if we want to understand where the Obama administration is leading America!

Frank Marshall Davis
Dreams From My Father explains that, while he was a teenager living in Hawaii, Barack Obama was deeply influenced by a black poet named Frank. This “Frank” is mentioned 22 times in the book by his first name, but oddly, Obama never divulges his last name. Even more mysteriously, the book’s passages mentioning “Frank” were completely removed from the 2005 audio version of Dreams From My Father.

As a Harvard Law student, however, Mr. Obama was less shy about Frank’s full identity. In a televised reading of his autobiography, which aired on Cambridge Municipal Television in September 1995, Obama admitted it was none other than Frank Marshall Davis,a black journalist, poet and pornographer who joined the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) to become member #47544.

Now Joe President Putin of Russia still aired his praise for Communism and still on occasions flashed his Communist Membership card. He is no difference to Obama who embraced Communism and was responsible for driving America from a Superpower to a now paperpower.

Now Isaiah is a book written for Britain and America. Read the curses in chapter 3 like the one below and compare it to what is happening now to America during Obama's tenure as President.

"And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient(God), and the base against the honourable."Isaiah 3:4-5.
Now just imagine, how much more would Americans suffer if the Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton becomes President.

You're just making it up as you go along twisting and changing it along the way. You still don't get it do you? If it didn't come pass its a false prophecy, which Armstrong is.

Frankly we don't need you to explain the prophecy. You cant even explain the mistakes and lies of Armstrong what made you think you can explain prophecy?

Joe Armstrong studied prophecy like nobody else.
See 1 Thessalonians 4:17;
"Then WE which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
By the above verse we can see that Paul the apostle thought believed that he would still be alive when Christ returns. He died sometime before A.D 70. Did that mean that he is a false prophet? Certainly not! Likewise Armstrong believed that Christ would return in his lifetime. His prophecies were all derived from the Bible thus he felt it was the right time to spell out how things will all come to an end. Those prophecies will come true before the end arrives without much changes.
Or Joe look at the next verse below:
"What I mean, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; those who mourn, as if they did not; those who are happy, as if they were not; those who buy something, as if it were not theirs to keep; those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away." 1 Corinthians 7:29-31. You can see that Paul had a strong conviction that Christ was gonna turn up very soon. But only Paul's timing was wrong but it is going to occur just before Christ returns.

Now before you run your mouth further see Acts 2:14-21 and see Peter quoting from Joel chapter 2 thinking that the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on those days were the same that Joel was referring to but Joel was talking about the one that is to occur during the coming Tribulation. Peter's timing was off by about two millenniums. But can you disqualify Peter off as a prophet of God? God forbids! Likewise you can't take away the fact that most of Armstrong's prophecies had came to pass as well as those happening like Britain's exit from the EU.

Unfortunately, many Christians scorn the study of Bible prophecy. In other words, they do not appreciate or value the study of Bible prophecy and consider it a complete waste of time. How sad that so many people maintain a wrong spirit about this subject and regard Bible prophecy as though it were an unnecessary element included in the Bible. They always says it will unfold in their own designated times and see it useless to study prophecy.

To say that we love Jesus, yet refuse to understand all that He has done and is going to do in the future is a surface type relationship that lacks depth. Few people consider that the first advent and death of Jesus Christ at Calvary was also a fulfillment of prophecy!
However, Paul encouraged the early believers by writing, "Do not put out the Spirit’s fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good." 1 Thessalonians 5:19-21

The "testimony of Jesus" is mentioned four times in Revelation because it will be particularly significant to people all over the world who live during the Great Tribulation. What is the testimony of Jesus? It is the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY. The angel told John, ". . . For the TESTIMONY OF JESUS is the SPIRIT OF PROPHECY." Revelation 19:10.

Now Joe do you now know why I know a lot about Bible prophecies?
