IS THE FIJI LAND SAFE?

We Fijians (Kai Viti) have always look to the land as the very source of our being. We were made out of the dust of the ground, and God, in his infinite wisdom have placed us in Fiji for his heavenly purpose.

From Colonial days to Independence, the lands, so we are made to believe is safe in our hands throught the adminstration of the NLTB.

But in this trying time, where the country has no Constitution and no law; and the illegal regime is on the path to change the land law; can we still say that the Fijian lands are safe?

Me'u na tinia na vola lekaleka 'qo. Na yasayasa vaka-ra e sega ni o Viti, but a part of Fiji. While it remains so, the land laws that covers the yasayasa vaka-ra also cover other parts of Fiji! When we talk of fiji, it does not only cover a few provinces but the whole!

You said that Fiji is a safe country; I agree but only if you go along with the dictatorial government now in power. I don't believe that I will enjoy Fiji now - knowing that the country is run by unprincipled gangs of loosers whose biggest enemies are themselves and those who disagree with their illegal government.

I happen to love my freedom; my liberty under the constituted laws of the land; I also love my country and God when unhinded by dictatorial self made usurper,masquerading as "saver of the people."

You cannot compare Fiji with the United States of America because Fiji is a Dictatorship, but America is Democractic. America is not safe for loosers, those who hate freedom, law and order, and prosperity! You should know because you are enjoying the fruits of it's freedom!

Fiji WAS peaceful and friendly (how long have you been away?) but it has changed, and the biggest change are the people. When people are suspecious of each other, not knowing who is friend or foe, it is not the Fiji that I once love. I will still love the people of course, but not what their environments is molding them to be.

Fiji is doomed to become the pauper of the pacific.

America is a land of freedom and plenty, and there are propensity for them to act in ways that are distateful to some people from other parts of the world who don't understand them. But mostly they are loverly people, because most of their values are Biblical founded- Christian foundation.

Because they are good, bad people hate them. America is obligated in these last days to fund most of the programs in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world (Ministers from different denominations in Fiji will testify to that fact!). When that obligation is over, America will be defeated in a soon coming war, and when that happens, those who are bad-mouthing America now will come to realize that they were fools to degrade a country whose mission were only to help!

The struggle to survive is a sad reality. Things are not looking aby better in the Land of the Opressed where freedoms are removed! Four months have passed since you posted last on this blog. The news since is nothing to be proud of, because Fiji today is getting worse. We hear that chiefs from most provinces in Fiji are parading to kow-tow the dictator to position themselves for hands out from the illegal government. The illegal president is also on the provincial "campaign trail" to boost up their public awareness of their road and bridge buildings; while the people live in poverty and hunger. There is still no light at the end of the tunnel, as Fiji is concerned. But there is a rumbling under the surface, which I believe can erupt like a volcano at anytime!

As you said, "We can put up the facade and mask of "makin it" when we are really "hating it." We are good pretenders, or maybe we are good "LIUMURIS!" E so sa yame rua vaka na Dictator.
Fiji will be poorest country in the pacific in a very short time if the leadership does not change. That is as sure as the rising of tomorrow's sun!; ▶ Reply to This
