Or have your hearts gone out to her and her Family ?

But like many programs, may have been high jacked for the wrong purpose, to get Frank's mates out of prison !

The Yellow Ribbon concept was originally about rehabilitating ex convicts back into the Community.
If anyone involved in this coup has contributed anything useful, it is the Prison's Commissioner, and I think you'll all agree !
But there was always the potential for Frank Bainimarama to misuse it to his own advantage, as was done with Francis Keane.

Let the law takes its course and allow the courts to do its duty.

These are the words of assistant police spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri after a relative of a rape victim mistakenly assaulted a remand prisoner who he thought was the accused in the rape case.

Sokomuri is urging members of the public to await the outcome of the court process and not to take the matter into their own hands.

Tensions were high at the Suva Magistrate’s Court earlier today when 21-year-old Petero Bai charged with the alleged rape of an 8-year-old girl appeared in court.

Friends and relatives of the victim gathered in numbers at the court house and an elderly relative had to be overpowered by police when he assaulted another remand prisoner as he came out of the court house, thinking it was Bai.

The elderly man is currently being charged at the Central Police Station while the remand prisoner had to be taken to the CWM Hospital for medical attention.

Meanwhile, Bai's case has been transferred to the Suva High Court and will be called for mention on April 23rd.

Police had to step in once again to remove the young girl's relatives from outside the remand cell as they hurled verbal abuse at Bai when he was transported back to Korovou prison.

Permalink Reply by Ariana Tagi on April 19, 2010 at 3:22pm: We all know right from wrong....Only people with serious mental disabilities may not be capabel of understanding right from wrong.......For someone to commit a crime as such should be put away for life...or ending his life......At what point do we as a society say enough is enough !....This kind of violence should end RAPERS lives.......This kind of people cannot prove that they can adjust it's in their system.........a violent sex offender that will do nothing, but drain the tax payer's dollars because they refuse to control their sexual desires......THE QUESTION STILL GOES ON....WHAT IF THIS WAS YOUR CHILD................If anyone looks at a child and has a sexual desire.....someone should put a gun to his head and end his life.....Then thinking again .....death is the easy way out.....He should suffer the rest of his miserable life rotting in a prison cell never again knowing the sweetness of freedom.

Sometimes, a persons behaviour is dictated by opportunity, his environment or a personal history of abuse.
Hitler wanted to Kill all the imperfect people in society, but who made him Judge, Jury and executioner ?
Yet his own supporters, his henchmen, were mentally and physically warped and depraved and disfigured.
