Breastfeeding in Public!!!

I was walking to the Suva bus stand after work two days ago and what caught my eye was the amount of mother's breastfeeding. It wasn't the fact that they were breastfeeding that amazed me but that it was with a feeling of such abandonment. They were not bothered by what other people were thinking nor were the public intimidated by that act. Contrasting scenario was the incident that happened with an airline in the states that removed a mother from the plane that was to take-off. She was told that it was an indecent display of body parts......wait a minute!!!!

breastfeeding in public is a very natural thing to do. ni sa tagi na gone me via kana mothers won't think twice about finding a place to feed. the best thing a mother can do in this case is cover the head with a nappy. am sure all mothers go with extra nappy or little blanket when they have baby with them. mothers are breastfeeding in church, in restaraunts....who are we to deprive a baby his/her feeding rights.; ▶ Reply to This
